Monastery "St Gavril Lesnovski"

Monastery St Gavril Lesnovski is located in the village of Lesnovo city of Probistip, Macedonia.For the first time the monastery is mentioned in 1330.In 1341 it is renewed by John Oliver an Serbian rich feudal lord and a few years later expanded.In 1937 in Skopje it is named as а seat of the newly formed Zletovo bishopric.There are many manuscripts that have been written in this monastery , that gave contribution for the Slavic language.This is a great place to visit.It has a hostel and a restaurant near the monastery.You can also try traditional Macedonian foods from the village housewives.

National park "GALICICA"

The National park Galicica is pronounced as a park in 1984.It's located between the Ohrid and Prespa Lakes , Macedonia.The total area of the park is 227 km2.The biggest peak is called Magaro on 2254 m.The lush flora and fauna, makes this park the most attractive places to visit in the country.
The park has many mountain bike tracks and its also popular for paragliders.
It has many monasteries and churches to visit like:Monastery St Naum,cave church St Stefan, and the Prespa lake island Golem Grad.
Galicica(Galichitsa) it's a place worth visiting.

Village Vevchani

Vevchani is a village situated in the foot of the mountain of Jablanica 800 m over the sea level ,municipality of Struga , Macedonia.It has 2500 inhabitants.
The first settlement is said that it is from around 3 th century b.c.First written documents date from around 6 th and 7 th century with arriving of the tribe Berziti.
The name Vevchani derives from the slavic word VES which means VILLAGE.
The main event in the village of Vevchani is the Vevchni carneval.Some sources say that it is old 1460 years.It's a mixture of pagan and christian customs.

Vevchani has natural beauties all around the village .It has many restaurants by the small river an hotels.

The Skopje fortress (Kale)

The Fortress Kale is located in the capital of Macedonia, Skopje.It is build on the highest point of the city.It is build in Byzantine times 6 th century, from the stones of the ruined city of Skupi .It is said that before the fortress was build there were settlements since 4000 bc , bronze age.The forthress today is one of the most popular places in the city,it has an astonishing view of the city of Skopje and the old Turkish bazar is next to it.

Chrch St. John of Kaneo

The church of St. john of Kaneo is a very beautiful church in the city of Ohrid Maedonia . It is Placed on a rock above the lake shore in Ohrid.It is build in the end of the 13 th century.The church is constructed in the shape of  a cross,it is said that the architecht was under the influence of the Armenian architechture . The church is renewed in 14 th century before the coming of the turks in the balkans.It is neglected during the ottoman period,but rebuild again in the 19 th century.There are very beautifull frescoes some are remained from the construction of the church.
It is a place worth visiting.
